| Here it is up for sale, as I am after an SUV again. Top of the range Soarer 31 LTD. Engine is Supercharged V8 with stainless ceramic coated extractors. Much money spent on this car over the last 6 years of ownership. Excellent condition leather interior with all electrics working, including touch screen, which has been rebuilt and has no missing pixels. Top of the line Bilstein heavy duty coil overs, height adjustable on very expensive ANZ rims with plenty of tread of the Khumo rear tires and nearly new front rubber. Beautiful paint job. Hard to find one as good as this and now with the supercharger it has modern power too. Better than the twin turbo 6 and great sounding too without being too loud, and no drone. Tow bar. All fluids flushed regularly with highest quality products, including Auto trans. New engine mounts, and steering bushes. New 02 sensors along with new Knock sensors, thermostat, temp sensors etc. Larger brakes fitted, with plenty of pad life left. 1994 tail lights (look better than the '91s). New front lower control arm bushes and replaceable ball joints. Arms like these have to be worth about $2000, better than new. Brand new Denso air con compressor, TX valve and dryer. As you can see, the car is cheaply priced when you think of the cost of the work done with keeping it in good shape. See my profile for more detail. $9500 is probably fare in this market if you want a Soarer that is better than most. Vapour injection LPG with latest high output vapourizer is attached but not taken into account as it is not tuned to take the supercharger although will work ok without pushing it, as a spare fuel supply. Just look at the car as running on petrol and get the $5000 LPG as a bonus. |

| So potential buyers please note John has gone to the trouble to break the engine in. Kms really are not an issue for this motor. It's all the stuff that hangs off it like the power steering pump. |

| Yes, I have replaced a number of those components that hang off the engine itself already and have a spare new power steering pump for the day when the present one decides it has had enough, but right now there are no signs of that happening soon. Come on, who can make me an offer? |

| I cover the front leather with sheep skins that will not come with the car, unless you want to pay extra for them. You will find it hard to find seats as good as these. More pictures:

| No, not original. It was resprayed by a very good tradesman just before I bought it, a really good job in XR6 Blueprint. It looks fantastic hey? Someone out there must want one of these?? One has to go, either the Soarer or the WRX WRP10. I just bought a late model Titanium Ford Territory and have to pay for it. Anyone interested in an excellent condition 2005 WRX. | Just buy my Soarer Matthew I had a 400 rwkw XR6T but sold it and kept the Soarer and put a supercharger on it, so as to not go back too far. The Soarer was nicer to drive. |

| Timing belts were done at about 167,000 klms, so plenty left before needing to be done again. Some do them at 100,000 klms but as far as I know they are scheduled for change at 100,000 miles, so 160,000 klm. That means you will still have over another 100,000 klms before the timing belts needs doing. I scheduled to do a complete auto flush 60,000 klms after I did the last one, but when I flushed it at 60,000 with 12 litres of new oil, it was not even dirty. That speaks for itself as for the condition of the Auto box. Very good. |

| Special for this week only, as I have found another car that I could buy if this goes. Just some extras to add to what has been written so far: I have a fully working stacker in the boot. Power horns. New sway bar bushes. Fully rebuilt ECU. Price for this week only? $8000 firm. Super cheap for this car. |

| Have just spent 2 full days removing the supercharger and replacing the injectors with recently cleaned and resealed ones and new expensive Bosch fusion plugs, which are pitched to last 100,000 klms. I also replaced the passenger side coil with a new one. A few days ago it started missing and I had had some hickups with fuel supply so thought that I had burnt out an injector. I went ahead and changed the injectors for recently cleaned and resealed ones. I also put new plugs in it and in the process found that some of the due to be changed plugs were fouled. It turned out that 4 plugs were sooted up, so I figured that one of the coils must have been compromised, each coil feeds 2 cylinders from each bank. The Driver's side coil was fine at about 12 resistance on the multimeter but when I tested the one on the passenger's side it had only a resistance of 6 instead of about 12 plus, so that was the problem. I replaced it after having gone down the path of injectors, plugs, plug leads, which all tested good, while looking for the problem and there is was, the simplest thing to get at, a coil. But in the process I found that I had a slight crack in the plastic thermostat housing (The colapse of these plastic spouts is a sure way towards overheating and disaster), so I replaced that with a sikaflex coated stainless steel one, which has no need of replacement. This car continues to be great value for money!!!! Come on and get a bargain for $8000 or I guess I am keeping it rather than give it away. |

| No Scott, not selling the supercharger as a kit separate from the whole car. If no buyers then I will keep it as I do love the car, just thought that it was time to move on. Jan, I got the thermostat housing on the car that was overheated that I got the supercharger off. The guy had it made after his plastic one fell apart. Any fabrication shop could make one if you gave them the plastic one as a template. I covered the stainless with black Sikaflex incase the stainless was not compatible with the metals in the 1UZ alloy block but it would be better if it was aluminum? Any thoughts? Having said that I might take the plastic one to Thailand and get some made to sell here as everyone needs one as good insurance for their motor. The black ones should be changed to schedule but most would not know that they have a use by date. I think it is less than 10 years? |

| Just bought a 1JZ set up for the track, so need to shift my 31 out. No one seems to respond to my adds, so any suggestions as to how to sell it? I could take the supercharger off and sell that separately and put the car back to LPG and have it working perfectly with the extractors, great sound, for $6000. I have taken the ANZ wheels off and put a set of tough looking 17-inch wheels on it, with almost new Centurato tyres, as per the attached picture. This is an amazingly good condition car for that price. Then sell the M90 full set up for $3000. I would not take the supercharger off till I had a definite sale for the car without it. The car is a fantastic buy for $8000!!!

| Yes, Roland is right. It is too cheap. Where do you get a near immaculate V8 Soarer in great mechanical condition for $4500, then get a good condition supercharger kit complete for $3000 and a set of stainless ceramic coated extractors for free and have these fitted with a performance exhaust just as an act of kindness? This is what you are getting in my asking $7500 for this great car. Can't understand why there is not a queue lining up to get it but not one inquiry with cash money, only swaps with payment plans? Amazing! |

| The Soarer market over here in NZ has also dried up, John. No one wants to spend a bit extra for good examples, they just want to pay peanuts and then thrash the life out of the vehicle. Anecdotally I think it's a general reflection that people who might be in the market for cars like these just don't have the spare cash available. |

| I have just sold the car, with a week's rego left. I took the special LCAs off and put good ones on and the buyer was happy for me to keep the '94 tail lights. It went with roadworthy and gas cert for $6400. Very cheap for what it was. The buyer is an enthusiast and really appreciates the good deal he got. It is good to be a blessing. Hope the car serves him well. It has been a love affair since 2010 when I bought it. It is a great colour and many happy days especially interstate trips. I have learnt lots and have greatly appreciated the help that this forum has given me. I think it has been the most informative and well administrated forum in Australia. I still have my new 1JZ, semi track car. It has taken a little while to readjust to the manual but it is a great replacement with more power, so that is what I wanted for less money than it would have cost to get the V8 to go that fast and to stay so flat on corners. |

At least you've kept the 1jz. i was fearful of another purist to leaving the realm. Now..... about that 2jz bottom end for your track car... hah, lol ! So you did keep the manual.
