My car paid a visit to X-speed today for installation of my AVC-R and SAFC-II and tuned in. I was pretty dissapointed to find that when I picked it up I had only made 260hp. My mods are as follows -
Hybrid GT Spec intercooler Lews Dumps and full exhaust 440cc supra injectors AVCR + SAFC-II
Most people I spoke to reckon I should of cracked 300rwhp easy but the guys said "every car is different" I believe there is some truth in that but i dont believe the difference would be on an extreme of 40hp.

That is nearly 200kw at the wheels. What boost are you running? 300hp at the wheels equates to about 225rwkw, were you seriously expecting more than that from just those mods? The fmic adds bugger all power, all that does is allows you to use your other mods to their maximum potential.
440cc's aren't going to do anything much unless you've seriously wound up the boost to warrant the extra fuel requirements. For arguments sake, let's assume that your 440cc's, avcr (12psi?) and the safc give you 30rwkw. Add that to the 25rwkw you'd get from the exhaust and you have 55kw on top of the stock 150kw, which is about what you seemed to have achieved.
So no, for what you have done you seem to be on the level with what other people with the same mods have, IMHO.

Im running 14psi and yes I was expecting to hit close to 300hp at the wheels. Paul Brockbank currently has the exact same mods as me and he got 302rwhp, Luke has an SAFC-II and boost controller running 14psi and he made 252rwhp. All 3 of our cars were tuned by the same person. It just doesnt make sense to me.

I've only got 13p.s.i. flat, and made 202rwkw even on 98ron with the same mods. Piggy back fueller, front mount, Lews dumps, 440's and a pump. Thats in shootout mode too, so the hot weather up here shouldnt make a diff to teh actual power readouts, only to the engines abilities to put out power under stress.

Luke runs 15psi though...
I have SAFC, 1.1bar (~17psi?), steel wheel turbos, fmic and am able to push 280horsies through my wheels. The car is running VERY rich though, hopefully that can be optimised upwards a little...
Given you most likely have better exit breathing and can squirt more fuel in you should be able to get more power through.

I made 195rwkw ( just over 260rwhp) with STandard dumps, FMIC, EBC, FCD(afr's around 11.3-11.4 to be safe) 15psi, PoD filter, High flow cat and 3 inch Zorst into twin cannons.
IM happy with that kind of power, And seeing it ran a 12.96 @ 107.49mph, im happy with that.

Im still in the works of figuring out where this leak is. X-speed said they leak tested it but nothing was showing up and when it was on the dyno I could hear it coming from inside the fender, not the pod itself but yeah, the boost curve was smoothe as and pressure wasn't dropping. Its now starting to give me the

Doesnt Paul have Steel wheeled turbo's? I would be assuming that most steel wheelies are slightly high flowed, or running slightly different vanes on their compressor wheels. This may give him a slight edge?
Best way to see how it really goes is over the 1/4 mile Or maybe take it somewhere else and see if they think they can tune it any better?
What are your AFR's running at? Can u post up a Dyno sheet so we can all look? Also, how much rwkw ( or rwhp) did it have before the tune? I know Paul has said to me, that his car was running severely rich before he go it tuned. He gained something like 60 rwhp just from his safc and boost. Which is astounding.

When I got mine tuned I asked Ant for a pretty aggressive tune. It made 302.0rwhp on 12.5 AFRs (pretty lean) but not pinging, running 14psi.
A couple of weeks later (same dyno, safer tune, and 12psi) it only pulled 275rwhp.
What did Ant say your AFRs are?
Even a very small change in AFRs makes a massive difference in HP. I just got a fuel pump put in (Bosch 040) and I suspect it's altered the AFR's, because now it feels like a slow pig.

I made 196rwkw with 3" exhaust, hiflow cat, twin dumps, FMIC w/2.5" piping, JZA70 throttle body, semi tuned SAFC approx 12AFR, 15psi, ceramics, shift kit. Using a home made boost controller (norgren valve)
I was hoping for more power, maybe my motor is flogged out. Will do a compression test soon. Picked up a Blitz Dual SBC Spec R EBC today for $250 so I'll see if that helps when I put the new steel wheel turbos on next weekend.
Can't work out why other people with the same mods are making 220-235rwkw though!!

I guess its one of those things. Same thing happened to me, i shoulda made a fair bit more power than i did going on what other people made with the same mods.
Theres so many things it could be its crazy. So best thing to do is take it down the strip and see what time you get. Thats what i plan on doing before doing any more mods in the future.

Remeber Each dyno IS different. I mean, Going off my 12.9 @ 107mph quarter mile pass with about 200rwkw, Some guys on here have up to 40rwkw more and are posting similar times!
Dyno's are for tuning, unless your after BIG numbers to impress. I ran a High 12 second pass with no more than 200rwkw, hope this makes ya all feel better
