Ahahahaha, get your mind's out of the gutter!

Just wondering if someone can measure the diameter of the stock TT engine fan for me? I don't have one anymore and I'm getting p-o'd with the noise that my electric ones make. They do a damn fine job, but sound like a jet engine in the process. I've got a little something planned...

Should this work, I will have a solution for everyone with cracked shrouds/fan blades, entailing LOTS of carbon fibre and polished aluminum :-)

by my measurement the diameter is around 400mm Ben. This solution for the cracked shroud sounds interesting.

Yeah, thinking of making a complete replacement from aluminium, with a removable carbon lid for access to the fan or anything else that needs to be got at down there.

Now I just need to get off my arse and make up some templates, right after I mod those under trays for Neil, which is after I mod my new seats to work on my wiring loom. I'm going to be a busy boy over the next few weeks!

I've already ordered an aftermarket fan today, so here's hoping that Robert is right!

No worries mate, I'll email you now.
