Hi Guys,
I have aftermarket gauge on my zz30 and have noticed that it runs pretty hot? Normally around 85-95deg ? is this normal ? i though it should sit around 80ish ? It got pretty hot at a recent track day but after some hose changes and replacement elec fans seems ok just sits around that temp ? scared to take it back to the track incase it just cooks itself again.

wow thats hot .... i can sit it at 80 with 2 elec fans but it seems to be running way hotter under accelleration since that issue with the water pipe on the back of the head ... ive also added a front mount too so i know airflow is less .. but i still think its a bit hot.

my is 106 under boost. 96 at idle. It used to be 88-89 at idle with CT12s. It rises as soon as I changed to a watercooled single turbo. Maybe my turbo generates too much heat?

Maybe you need to get your radiator Serviced? It should have been done whilst your car was apart.
Its amazing how people always make things faster without looking at all the things that make it tick ALways get your radiator serviced when doing big things to your engine. Its sad to see that a $300 radiator service or recore even, can help destroy a $5000 turbo setup or rebuilt engine cause they forgot to change or replace everything.( Not that im saying this is your case Danny, good name that, But just an overview)
I'd say Get your radiator checked out Danny. Might be partially blocked or something

No Daniel, I've only just had the radiator top tank changed and the whole radiator cleaned not long ago. It's not the radiator. It would have overheated by now. THis is my number 1 to do list when it comes to modifying my car. Im thinking of having a secondary smaller radiator just for the turbo hehe....
