lol same problem, i got the Maltech lines aswell. Max said Maltech did them for you. So i got my mechanic to order the Oil Lines. ( i didnt get water lines though )
But also one of the Circlips was not on properly, just as my mechanic finished fitting the turbos, he lent on the turbo and heard a tingy sound...he had a look and there was the circlip poped straight off.
Next day he tried all day to get it back on but in the end he needed to remove the turbo (it was the rear turbo) and get the circlip machined just a tiny bit to make it fit properly.
Oh then a week or 2 later i got a exhaust leak from the turbo, it wasnt welded properly. It was the front Turbo so the mechanic had to remove it so the welder could fix it up.
But since all that, they have been good lol

yeah my front turbo wasn't sealed properly against the manifold... and the rear comp cover was loose... all things that should have been checked when being fitted... but yeah... all sorted now, and couldn't be happier!

Yeah thats true.
Im happy with them aswell i was alittle annoyed at 1st with the complications but as everyone says you have to expect little niggling things like this to happen when you start Modifying your car.
I just need some more cash to do some more supporting mods.

so after all of this can someone please make it clear what is the best thing to get done to the turbo's from gcg? and what would it cost to do it, as i know standard rebuilds with steelwheels are $2600, and for some hiflowing done as well it's around $2900. Is there anything else someone can recommend to do and then i'll speak to them to see what it's worth.

The 'best' thing to do would really depend on you and your budget mate. If you just want a simple rebuild and strapped for cash, then the hi-flowing option is not for you.
However, CGC DO say that you will have 20% more power at the same boost levels. Whether that is 20% more power than the standard turbos or steel wheeled turbos I don't know.
If you are REALLY strapped for cash, then the E-bay turbos wouldn't be a bad idea. Although I personally haven't seen these turbos in action, the general consensus on this forum is that they aren't too shabby for their price. There is, of course, also the option of the bolt-on HKS T3G's? They're somewhat rare second hand, and are fairly hefty brand new from what I know.
