Just wanted to check what people have their gate pressure setting on for the different boost set points and also what sensitivity? The gate pressure on mine is set on 0.8. I realise that these values will be different from other people because I running upgraded turbos but I am just after a guide.

Are you still running the ct12a's or have you got the TD04's in? Either way I just wanted to know what gate pressure setting have you got for the different boost set points and also what sensitivity? This info is in the boost parameter setup. Cheers...

I'm running an eBoost 2, but external gate. If Steven is running identical turbos to you, his setting should be fine. Otherwise, it's dyno time to do some testing.

Ben - na I sold the injectors I had to fund my turbo rebuild, so I think i'll just watch the WTS section on the forum for the next 6 months until I can afford some new ones and a tune. I will let you know when I get some new ones. Also i'm not putting the boost up I just want the correct settings for the boost I am running now.
Simon - I'm running twin HKS T3G's, and yeah I probably should put it on the dyno for this but I just wanna see if I can set this myself first.
Steve - You can find out this stuff by accessing the boost parameter menu by pressing and hold the Mode button and the down arrow simultaneously. The readout will begin to flash between the selected parameter and its value, from there you can scroll up and down to the gate pressure and sensitivity. You should check out the instructions, they are cool to look at and you can change some other stuff to: http://www.turbosmart.com.au/index.php?s=file_download&id=15 Do you know that your controller was setup on a dyno?

Tom do you realise that you have to set your boost and sensitiviy first. This will depend on the spring strenght in the actuators. The gate pressure setting , yours is .8 bar, that keeps the wastegates shut until that pressure . So you see you have to set your boost and sensitivty on the road. Once thats done set the GP to just below the boost pressure you set. The only settings of use to you would be someone else with 3G's.
From memory gate pressure should be set ~4psi less than the boost you want to achieve in the end. Saves the eBoost having a heart attack trying to keep the gates closed, then open them all up suddenly.
