thanks guys, gapped to .8 running good no misfire but there is a tiny problem i drove it for 2 hours today and only once it did like a little cough dont know what it was but it used to do it heaps before, boost is running at 9psi now and all smoothly, just wondering im from hervey bay queensland and im after someone reliable to put in a shift kit to get rid of that annoying retard timing thing, just want someone whos worked with a soarer before as there arent many people up here that work with soarers and i dont really want them "playing" with my car Mark-- i am running factory ecu atm im not sure what to go for in the area of aftermarket ecu, but all seems to be running fine thanks mate

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has aftermarket coil setup, iv just pulled mine out and found big cracks and soring on the cracks, i want to look into something where i can run a lead from a bosch transistor or something, if anyone is running anything other than stock let me know i need ideas. Pics would also be great. Thanks guys

Can't see the point myself unless you need a really big spark for really high boost. The standard ones lasted 15 years and a new set should do the same. It's mostly oil leaks from the cam covers that kill 'em anyway.
