Put it on a Dyno and get the AFR's checked. How accurate is your boost gauge?
If you could afford to spend all that money on a conversion and accesories, for gods sake man, Put it on a Dyno and get it checked! Being cheap about it sometimes isnt a good thing. Thrashing it down the road to try and work it out? I guess when a rod goes through the block you will be able to see it was running too lean???

My car started to splutter under 3/4+ throttle under load, just guessing that would be around the 7-8psi mark. Everytime it happened I was so freaked out by what the engine was doing I didn't really pay overly too much attention to the boost gauge. I knew that my fuel ecu was cactus when the car stated stalling for no apparent reason.
And as for taking it to toyota... you'd be better off giving me your money and I can sit there and scratch my head and say ' I dunno ' Toyota is great help ofr parts, but I wouldn't trust them as far as I could kick 'em actually working on the soarer, none of the mechanics at my local have ever had one in the shop before! Go to a more reputable tuner/importer, your money would be way better spent there.
