I was looking around as usaual and found this page http://www.sportsluxurycars.com.au/mainpage.htm and it says that the stock times for a TT is 13.4 over the quarter. How close is this to the truth?

Even fresh though it wouldn't be capable. Most Soarers running mid 13s are in the 250 horsepower range, I doubt they made that much just being "fresh" as such.

Are you in a manual Matt? I guess in a manual with a nice flowing exhaust, intake, a freezing Calgary night, and one hell of a launch, mid 13's are not out of the question.

Depends on boost also! INtake and Exhaust should prob get 12-13psi of boost. If its getting 13psi then with a good launch it should run 13.4's no probs on street rubber.

Simon read his post again
Reading is so over rated
Don't discount the weather. Taking the car for a spin in almost sub zero temps would have to be an advantage.
By the way Daniel: When i switch of my boost controller i only run about 9.5-10psi with a POD filter sitting under the drivers headlight, and a cat-back exhaust. Is that weird? could something else be restricting my flow?

Probably your Cat itself? 9psi is standard. Im guessing your car is close to the stock mark.
When i switch mine off, i only get 10.8-11.0 psi of boost. But i reckon i have a restrictive Cat.
Simon, as long as you can wind it up, nothing wrong with that mate All of them are different.
Unless you double check all of your intercooler pipes and clamps for a slight leak. Your EBC will readjust the boost if there is a slight leak. but in stock form, if its leaking, then it wont adjust anything, it will just be lower.
The lowest i personally have seen a stockish TT run in psi is 10psi. So your not far from it.
But yeah, CHange to a 3 inch CAT and see how that goes. I know Aka is running a Xforce 3 Inch high flow cat thats worth only about $200 and flows 504cfm which is pretty good for the price. He is getting just over 12psi natural.
Ryan McD is running about 11psi with just a PoD and SAFC.

I ran 10psi on standard trim, but with exuast, ecu and FMIC I jumped to 13psi(At that psi I ran a 13.2@ 102mph street tyer's),Now with steel wheel turbo's and dump pipe(ebay special) I hit just under 16psi natural boost.

Remove the Cat, it's only restricting performance and collecting pollution.
If you remove it now and dispose of it, it will be less hazardous to the environment than if you let it collect a tonne of pollution and then remove it :p
Seriously though, I used to run performance drives (track days and skid pan days) with a straight through pipe replacing my cat converter.
I did a dyno day previously in my old 180sx, ran the car when I got there for a 113kw tri-run, and then let the car cool.
removed the cat converter and installed the straight pipe, and let it run again, I seemed to get much better immediate power, and saw 119.8kw on the first run.
Pitty it's illegal to not run a Cat Converter in our modern day cars, but I guess if you get a high enough flowing cat converter, your laughing.
