Yes stock 1JZ's can yield a fluttering compressor surge upon throttle closure. The amount of compressor surge and the volume of it all depends on the mods your sporting. You dont need to make any 'dose pipe's or anything of the like, a low restriction bovless setup will get you there.
There are next to no negative side effects to the noise on our turbos unless i have magical super titanium ct12a's.

just go single turbo....+ no BOV = (works wonders on mine, when the supersonic bov is disconnected, and with throttle controll , you can get both sequentially to go off )
or you can disconnect you factory BOV and buy a K&N pod filter for some fluttering effects,,,,,

Yeah i put a K&N filter on mine and it flutters, I loosened my BOV, and it still flutters.. If i slowly back off the throttle, it will always flutter, if i quickly drop the accelerator, BOV goes off.
It pisses me off it never used to flutter until i put the pod on.
