Looking on the rest of their site I see what appears to be the same turbo as in the kit:
As little as I know about turbine specs does it seem suitable? 1.15A/R seems very high doesnt it? Wont that effect the time it takes to come onto boost?

The V-Band assembly will be for the outlet of the turbine housing as there is no bolted connection for the dump pipe.
Higher A/R ratio means that it will be more efficient at higher rpm, meaning more power for less boost at the top end. I'm sure someone here can tell you how that will run. From what I can find of compressor maps, it seems that it will be very laggy. From my quick calcs I get it giving full boost at above 4000rpm for 15psig.

That sure is laggy. Above 4000 for 15 pound would make it pretty for daily driving Id imagine. I rarely hit 4000 when driving to work and in traffic. Might help day to day fuel consumption! haha
I though thats what the V-Band assy meant. Has anyone else used a V band clamp for their dump pipes? Doesnt sound very secure to me.

I use v-band on my external wastegate, its secure, but it all needs to align correctly. If it doesn't it'll leak. Big advantage of it is can be taken apart very easily compared to bolted on assemblies or welded.
I have regular 4 bolt on the dump pipe, never had a problem, but can be difficult to get to the bottom one on the engine side.

15psi at 4000rpm is a dream with this turbo in anything without a torque converter, make that 5000 with change in a manual and maybe 6psi in first if you're lucky. Strapped to a dyno in 4th maybe 15psi by 4k but inlikely.. Compensate with higher boost etc, but its never going to be a 'fast car'.
Dont expect that turbo to be reliable however, i've heard of those china copies take engines with them as the compressor housing splits in two and the compressor s hits itself.

Wonder why they would sell it with such an odd combination of turbo. Perhaps they got them real cheap?
Im still waiting on a reply to confirm that the turbo posted above IS the correct one. I presumed so, as its the only T04B they have for sale on their site.
