Evening.
I know I'm not a regular - once I bought my soarer back in Oct '05 I dropped off.
But now I'm thinking of packing it in and buying a 'woman's' car.
My TT back last year had an issue maybe three times where it felt like it was 'spluttering' when I slowed down and then just shuddered to a halt. All lights came up. Then just died.
Car restarts straight away after my initial panic.
I took it in to a guy in Oakleigh who tightened up a lot of the piping and generally serviced the car (+ spark plugs). Said it might be the fuel pump regulator, but told me to see how I go.
It lasted for about 4 months then again this week just 'stalled'. Took it back - and got the fuel pump control changed over. He claimed this was the issue with his soarer and hasn't had a problem since.
Well it was stuttering and nearly stalled this evening again. I threw it into neutral and kept it revving while the lights were red (cursing my head off).
My next port of call is Sports and Luxury cars in Fentree Gully.
Yes I am car-illiterate.
I bought my soarer because: A) It is pretty...I've always loved the lines of the Soarer (leave me alone) B) It's not a tiny hatch back car and has power under the bonnet C) It makes my bf jealous.
Really it's gone well up until the times where it does this....
Thoughts? When I take it to get it looked at I would like to be able to throw some ideas around.

Yeah i know but it only takes 2mins id try it just to be 100% sure, Did she get a 2nd hand one? if so it could be a dud, or could just be a dud brand new one (highly unlikely i know) but yeah id still just check to be 100% sure.
