hey guys after i got my car running with the hks twin's / 440's / bosch 040 the car ran ok for a week or so, just some hesitation between 2000-3500 rpm, probably due to running rich and the emanage needing a tune.
now couple days ago out of no where the car started to miss fire really really bad to the point where the car is jumping and shaking and making it very difficult to even drive. in neutral it seems to be ok,but when i rev it i can hear the splattering. put it in 1st ok right at the start then when i try and put a little bit of load it then starts to miss fire and hesitate really bad same with 2nd etc.
what i have done: * checked for i/c pipe leaks (no leaks) feels much much worse than just i/c pipe leak. * changed the spark plug's, gapped to 0.7mm * inspected the coil packs for hair line fractures looked fine * plugged a set of coil packs into the loom with 2 spark plugs earthing out to visually see if the spark was jumping and firing ok, but when my friend was cranking it the spark was really weak, was hardly jumping and was not firing rapidly. (is that normal?)

*changed battery checked all earth wires.. *tried another ECU *tried another Ignitor *tried another map sensor *no codes from diagnostics *changed coil packs with mates set
still same problem!
car is going in tomorrow to check pressure coming from fuel pump, before rail. also there is a heat sink in the pic below, i was told this is a fuel pump heat sink? or something like that.. it used to get really really hot couldn't touch it, now since this problem has surfaced the heat sink is no where near as hot as it used to be, can place my fingers on it without discomfort ! any ideas??

Update..
Mechanic said pressure was ok in lines but no flow so fuel pump was not giving the motor enough fuel.He also changed the fuel filter because it looked really old and it eliminated another area.
Took fuel tank out yesterday and i was positive the new fuel pump (bosh 040) was faulty or the clamps i put on it must of came lose and the pump dropped to the bottom of the tank thus not sucking enough fuel into the motor.
When i had a close look at the cradle i could see the obvious problem, the hose i put on the link from pump to cradle pipe was all swollen up and out of shape badly with closer inspection, taking off the hose it was just eaten from outside in and inside out, few holes were apparent and the pipe was really soft and was braking in my hand.I must of not put an efi hose, but i was sure i did.. Either way this time i got some heavy duty hose, blue in colour.
I will post a picture of the destroyed hose later tonight.
Car is running like before now! Big relief because i can take the car to Sydney tomorrow morning for my tune.
thanks for your help and input everyone, it was good to go through and check all the stuff i did because it broadens my knowledge on these engines and future faults that arise.
