This is the highest stall speed and boost I've ever been able to achieve on the stall. As you can see this one caused the rears to go up in smoke. Unfortunately for this run I had 22psi of pressure in the tyres which isn't right, so grip levels were down. It takes about 7-8 seconds to build that at full throttle.

Daniel,i race on hoosier drag radials. traction is not an issue. I agree with your comments. tires should be the first thing to buy for racing after intake and exhaust mods i reckon.
I have got Advans on ATM because I got them secondhand for dirt cheap. My mate who I got them off done a 1.6 second 60 footer with them. But this is temporary I will be getting some DR's.

i run 225/50/16s hoosier drag radials, also have 26"x11.5"x16" Mickey Thompson ET streets(crossply) while daniel runs the newer 255/50/16 MT ET Street Radials. Get the street drivable MT ET street radials, i reckon.

Yeah the 255/50/16 MT Et STreet Radials are Awsome! Drive nice on the road and take an absolute pounding at the track. ALot of guys at WSID are running these tyres.
Shane is running the same Size and Same tye as me and he is in the flat 10's and soon to be high 9's! He was 60 footing in the consistent 1.5's to low 1/6's all the time.

I am using Stock Soarer 16 x 7 rims for the Et Streets! Seem to fit nicely and cant stop raving about them.
With Full Drag Radials though, you have to run Front runners as well or some kind of Cross Ply front tyres. Thats why most guys run the Et STreets. You can still run these with your normal front wheels and Tyres.
I paid $500 Trade for a Pair of Brand new ( Blemished, slight imperfections in markings, but who cares!!!).
Hell yeah. Going by my times I would get a mid 10 with a 1.60 60 foot time according to my calcs. I am going to sort the launch out and keep backing off towards the end on the quest for 1.60 60 footers. Then when I am happy I have done a really quick launch I will go for a 10.5 - 10.7 and get kicked out. I don't really want to get kicked for a 10.99 or something. Should be fun!
