Once I picked up my soarer a couple days ago (at night), everything was ok for the first 10minutes then the dash went black. I've done a search for the blinky dash but not sure if this is the same.
Driving along about an hour later the dash starts flashing then stays on for the rest of the trip. Happens all the time. I get in while it's cold, dash works ok, then after about 10mins it decides to flash then go off. I'm thinking it's an earthing problem but stereo and everything else works fine.
Another problem I'm having is the blinkers flash really fast. I've checked all globes including headlights and driving lights and they're all working? Not sure if there's some relay problem??

No worries. Just seems that when your transistor gets warm it stops working for a bit. Best just to fix up the caps and transistor, and hopefully it all works!

Fiddly job, but not too hard.

My girlfriend is going to pick the parts up for me straight after work. I'll quickly pull the console out and do it tonight. Looks pretty easy from the tutorial that I read. Going to replace all the capacitors so I don't have to worry about it again. Thanks again.

It was a fiddly job but I managed to get it done last night. Dash works great now
