Toyota part numbers 28100-42020 and 28100-42021.

Would these fit on a soarer?? anyone know. i know its a long shot. but i have no idea

ok.. yet another update..

pulled starter off... removed the solenoid.. pushed the push rod back with my finger and hit JUST the motor with the jumper leads.. away she went..... motor is fine.. a little flukuation in revs but meh... then i hit the solenoid and nothing.. nada zip.. rooted.. anyone got a spare they wouldn mind selling??? or know anyone throwing one out.. or weather i should just get a jza70 or 80 as neil suggested in the first place..

Auto electrician should be able to sort it for you. If you've got it out already it won't cost much.

I've got a spare JZA70 one, I upgraded to a JZA80 one 'cos mine started playing funny buggers. I've got some pics at home of the size differences. All I can say is the 2J is a tight squeeze getting it there but it fits and fires better then my old one 100% of the time!

Starter off a 7M cressida bolts up to a 1JZ and works great. Might be a cheap source for you to check out.
