Okay after trying to sell my car for a year and no luck I decided to keep it and mod it!

Firstly:

POD
FMIC
DUMPS/EXHAUST

I know where I can get a fmic from but I don't know where I can get it installed from?

Also is lew the only person who does dumps from 1jz's? Does Dave still do them?

What exhaust will get the most power and nice sound? 2.5" all the way or 3"?

Power FC or SAFC or emanage?

If I was to buy a Power FC will that cover all my boost and air/fuel ratios? Does the Power FC cover everything a SAFC and emanage does?
Also looking on ebay I can only find power FCs for mostly WRX's and Nissans. Where do they sell ones for 1jz's and how much?

I just want some ball park figures and where to go so I know before I buy anything and what I am expected to pay for installation. Any help will be handy

Yeah Adrain the only reason I don't want to do it myself is because if I screw anything up I don't have my other car anymore so that would mean I can get around, so I rather pay someone to get it done preoperly thats all.

Yeah Danny Dihn just e-mailed me and said he will help me out so its all good now I just need to pick which intercooler kit I am going to get.

Justjap Autos

Both are around the same price, has anyone had any experience with these kits?

I know the one from Justjap did not fit but he reassured me that he has fixed that problem and the new kit fits 100%

IF you buy the Just Jap kit, you can't run the standard airbox with it as the piping doesn't match up. Whichever kit you buy, I'm happy to help you fit it. Usually takes about 4-5hrs with regular smoke breaks.

PowerFC's only work on manual transmission Soarers. Apex'i no longer make PowerFC's for the JZZ30 Soarer so you will have to search pretty hard for a second hand one. If you come across a new one, be prepared to pay $1600 and above for it.

Thanks Maurice I might take you up on that :-)

For now I want about 240rwkw but I was just thinking of the long run instead of buying a safc and a emanage just got for a power fc.

But for the price of safc's and e-manages going on ebay I will probably just get one of each...

Also I found a set of brand new coilovers on ebay the other day but they seem to have gone? they where for buy it now price of $1100 and they where purple...Has anyone had experience with these? Pretty cheap!

Thanks for all the help guys...

My plans are:

Chop up and spray the front bar
Weld the hols and debadge the boot
New 19" black rims with chrome lip (Lots of dish)

Hopefully change the look of the car :-)

Why would you get both the SAFC and e-manage?

Below is a good reason not to buy cheap D2 coilovers either... Go a set of Tein super streets or a match up a decent spring/strut combo.

Doesn't the e-manage not do all the stuff the safc does?

How did that happend with the coilovers kyle?
So I should stay away I guess?

I have D2 coilovers and have had no issues with them either, going by the photos above, this car has been seriously abused, more than likely had a drifting accident and hit a gutter at high speed...

You dont think a Tein would do the same, if not any form of coilover??? I highly doubt it...

Oh so you recommened that the D2 coilovers are good Steven? I just want them so I can modify the height instead of going back and getting different springs every time.

Did you get them from ebay?
Cause I looked yesterday and their gone now.

I got my set off e-bay for $900 brand new from Just Jap, but they were for a JZA80 supra which still fit a soarer and it was there last set hence why I got them so cheap.

Ride is very firm, I personally think the car grips to the road much better than the stock Tems which I had (but 2 of my Tems were leaking) and I don't mind the firm ride anyway.

Like I said also, I have had these on my car for about 6 months now with no issue at all, each person has their opinions.

A lot of people on the forum say that the Teins are excellent, where I know only myself and another member from SA I think have the D2 coil overs on and we both have had no issues with the suspension to date.

Have a read through this, some interesting opinions on the D2's and other coilovers.

http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=203687&st=0

"Ive seen more D2's leak then I can poke a stick at"

"I have D2 coil overs and you could sit your car on the ground with them. they are ok. after 6 months driving on brisbane roads the backs are leaking and i can only get -3.1 camber on the front. they are ok for what you pay."

But then some others say they have ran them on the street and track with no issues at all. Seems to be a bit hit'n'miss with these, at least yours are working well steve!
