Got a problem,
just in the last couple weeks my turbos have been over boosting what they normally do. Im running an e-boost controller with the 3 preset settings set to 10, 12.5, and 15psi. This was set by my mechanic and were working perfectly but now the 10psi setting will boost up to 15psi, the 12.5 setting is going to 17psi and the 15psi setting hits 19psi.

Any ideas whats going on? One of my mates says it could be a boost pressure leak, but how would I test this??

when you are driven do you feel any different in boost? dose it feel lagie if so then you have a boost leak or could be a vacuum leak but you would hear it

i have the same problem with my hks evc 4 very slight overboost issue. set it at .90kg/cm2 and it goes to .96 (about 14psi.)

youdd want to be very carefull with 19psi depending on the fueling setting in your emanage if it was only tuned for 15psi.

is it spiking up, or is it stable at said psi?
setting still same?
any changes that effect boost, exhaust etc?

p.s. why 3 boost settings, i do boost by foot.
