hi all i had this dash warning http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/1113/74535.html?1150010852
the 16th CHECK OIL LEVEL

for about 1 month and i took the car to the mechanic,he said the oil level is just under full mark. he guess it might be the oil level sensor has gone. does anyone met this problem before

Maybe the oil pump is crook? Or something is not letting it build up full oil pressure? Perhaps even fit an oil pressure gauge.

oil sensor?
i don't have oil press gauge in the car. i would guess maybe oil pump is crook.

Hi yes i,ve had some oil pressure warning symbols come up on my dash randomly. I,ve put it down to a faulty sensor as the oil pressure does not drop. It usually comes up during the system check, not while i'm driving.

yes, the warning will come anytime when i drive the car. but it will disappear soon. and come out again. i would guess is oil sensor?

yeah i got the same prob. oil level is fine, oil pressure is fine.. my diagnosis.. needs new sensor..

of for a fully sick mod put a piece of black electrical tape across the bottom of the dash over where the warnings come up...

that will work yang.. nice cheap fix for ya

Put the black electrical tape in the red section. Then you wont get any more warnings
