Could anyone tell me how to install a HKS BOV in late model soarer (98 model)? some guy told me just take off the stock one and weld the new one in but i m not sure about that. so could anyone help me about that?

you need to 'remove and block' the factory bov port, then weld new one onto a stainless steel intercooler pipe (if you don't have stainless steel intercooler/piping, forget about it and buy the BOV fitting kit).

you cannot weld onto the cast iron that standard bov goes on to.

and if you can't wait to put it on, get it welded onto a small piece of piping that you can fit between the rubber piping on the left above air filter.

buy a HKS intercooler kit, it will have flange for a HKS bov :-)

I didn't do the install my self but there is one installed on my imported Soarer.

It's on the right side on the piping just before the throttle body.

You will need to block the stock location, I'm having mine welded up.
