hi guys.... after months of reading on...looking on, and enjoying the wonderful things that happen to soarers on this forum....its time i modify my car.......

Ok, these are the modifications i currently have.... (if you call them mods anyway )....
-Apexi power intake
-Greddy Catch can
-hybrid intercooler kit
-GFB mach 1 bov.....

anyways, i recently purchased these goodies...
-Hypergear TR44 HI-Flowed (580hp) turbo
-Transmission cooler (PWR large)
-Oil cooler kit...
-Upgraded internal wastegate (XTR-GCG 16psi)-(i bumped into muzzy in the process- top bloke )

anyways... back to the point...
i have now sourced enough funds to purchase most of the supporting mods... however, a unsure wheter the following mods will support 20psi as a daily driver....

-Greddy emanage blue(+t13 harness) +pressure sensor?
-Hks ignition (or msd...whatevers cheaper)
-550cc injectors? or do i go 6**cc?
-walbro 255lph fuel pump?-any bosch varients?
-Shift kit...1, or 1.5....(i want to go manualised but.....)
-Cam gear?
-exhaust...
anything else im missing? let me know
although this question may seem vague.... im just about to blow alot of money and need some advice to double check im right...thanks guys... as for power goal... maybe 250rwkw....

if you go 6** cc injector, i think you need greddy e-management ultimate. bosch 044 or 040 can be another choise. i had walbro gss341.it makes little noise at the back.

why not steel wheeled your standard turbo and get them high flowed, running with lew's dump
440cc supra injectors which will do 255 kw @wheel. just read Maurice's profile.

definitely go the Ultimate mate. I had the Blue & no end of dramas with taking fuel out. Very happy now with the ultimate & 260rwkw. Go the 1.5 shift kit from MV Autos...just magic. A set of Greddy cam gears can be had for around $150 each delivered. Don't go HKS series one as the teeth wear down quite quickly. They may be better with series 2 release, although no news yet.? Greddy's look very cool too.
I have a walbro 255 which is fine, but noisy as the tank gets low. Think I might do the supra 280lph as some of the other guys says its good to 500hp & is quiet.
Drop me a pm if you'd like the contacts for these parts.
Someone is currently selling a set of 440's for $280. Get onto that & with the other parts you're cracking for 250+
The HKS DLI should see a few more on top of that. BTW, check your coil packs. Mine needed repair & I'm in the market for a new set now.
Good luck mate

The Emanage Blue is more than capable of handling 440cc injectors but if you are going any bigger than 440cc's definately go the Emanage Ultimate, I've made 258rwkw with an unlocked torque converter with all my profile mods, 250rwkw is achievable with steel hi flows, but if you want any more power you have to ditch them and move onto a bigger single.

....out of curiosity...althogh i already upgraded the internal waste gate to a 16psi GCG unit...should i be running an external 38mm wastegate if i plan to run 20spi? (i know the theory of small boost+ bog turbo= big gate etc, vice versa...)

(the manufacturer recommended to run an external...but that may be due to the small wastegate supplied.....) will an internal do the same job with such boost figures... or was my attempt to save $600 by buying a $200 I.gate a waste of time...

Hey Charlie.

As you have already purchased the turbo, it depends if the rear housing has the outlet/provision for the waste gate or not.

If not then get and external gate and run that, and you will find that with most aftermarket manifolds have the pipe already there for an external waste gate. In MOST cases an external gate will give better control over boost than an internal.

If you use the internal gate, then you will have to get a manifold to suit it, or weld the pipe closed on it that would usually go to an external gate. but this will also work.

Here is a pic of a housing with a wastegate and one without.

So if you turbo is an internally gated type i would stick with that to save $ (or you will have to buy a new exhaust housing)and if not the external all the way

Also with that turbo on 20psi you will still be able to use 440cc injectors... if you want a set i have some coming out of my car in the next week.

Also a tip for you, but stock pump and 440's will get you 260rwkw as i have proven, and that was not surging with under 5ltrs of fuel left and injector duty cycle was very safe.

It think that turbo will make about that power on 20psi.

also if you leave the fuel system like that an emanage blue will be more than sufficent.
