For some reason the exhuast forum is closed , so i posted this here.
Basically i want to quieten down my exhuast as im getting sick of loud exhuasts and to keep the EPA happy. It currently has the following setup :
- 3" Front Pipe - 3" Midpipe - 3" Cat converter - Split into two 2.5" pipes - 2 x 3" Mufflers - 2 x 4" Cannons
Now if i were to replace the cannons with say 2.5" mufflers this would this make the exhuast noticeably quieter? I would also think this would not impede flow going from 4" cannons to 2.5" mufflers as the pipes leading to them are only 2.5" anyway?
Anyone else got a good setup which is quiet around town but sounds good when you open it up?
