For those of you unfamiliar with winter it looks like this,

Upload

In my unfortunate circumstance I do not have a nice heated garage for my Soarer and I to lounge around having a few beers and reminiscing of summer nights past. She will spend her winter like a bear hibernating under a blanket of cold white snow.

Now I'd like your help compiling a checklist of what I need to do to prepare for the up coming 11-1/2 months of winter. Winters here can range from -0 C to -40 C and all in the same day.

  • antifreeze or as referred to every where but the tundra coolant. I'd like to do a flush and a change

  • fuel stabilizer,

  • Car Cover

  • Oil Change (why not)

  • final wash, wax, and dry

Any other recommendations? Can you recommend a good car cover supplier? Anything I've missed?

If you have the space and time, put up a car port - it'll keep the worse of the weather off the car.

I do have a car port but the wife and kids and F-150 lay claim to that. Thanks though.

And I reckon you probably should let the wife and kids come inside the house, instead of leaving them under the carport with the F100!

some times it feels like it, its more like 5 to 7 months of snow/cold. This morning we had frost, I had to scrape the windows to get to work. So it'll go from -2 to +16 today.

F150 - the biggest selling vehicle in the world according to Top Gear

I loved the review they did on the F150...

"A big truck with big power...

And tiny, tiny little brakes."
