sup peoples! great work on this forum, everyone a here is a soarer nut *cough* dragan anyways...
when i boost my car up to a 1bar with my ebc and then flat foot it a warning comes up, i think its the electrical system warning not too sure. and it feels like boost cut but its not because the car jerks only once. this only happens sometimes.
but when i gun it without the ebc on the warning does not come on.
2nd question: could someone tell me exactly step by step how swap diff centers from a jza70 to my jzz30 soarer. i need to tell my mate because he doesn't know exactly how to do it.
1. Soarer has a boost cut at 1 bar. You are probably exceeding it. Back the controller off a little and see what happens.
2. I don't think this is possible. The JZA80 uses a G series diff, and the Soarer is an A series. Pretty sure they aren't just switchable between housings.

Nope JZA70 diff won't bolt into JZZ30 housing...
And as for boost cut...what Simon said. Even with the EBC set at 1bar you will most probably be hitting boost cut at times. Turn it down by say .5psi and see what happens...

when i hit boost cut (when i was playin) i got some crazy japanese message show up on my dash with a chime... hope that is normal.
you can buy boost / fuel cut defenders from Mark Paddick, but not a bad idea to get yourself a SAFC II off ebay (375-390 delivered) to get the fuel and air ratios right/safe.

thanks guys probably did overboost
and the warning is nothing then?? which warning do you get james?
the person i bought the diff off said "All G series toyota differentials can interchange centres" "you will have to use your crown wheel as the ratios may not match and they are already worn to suit each other other then that the bearings will be the same between centres, and you just need to have it set up for proper backlash and engagement. getting the right backlash and pre-load is the tough part. can be done at home if you have access to factory manuals and specs"
