My boost gauge just arrived today, and I searched the forums before attempting to install it. I found there was a bung hole on the driver side of the firewall for the boost line, but that only applies to automatic ones. I found another bung on the passenger side. I took the grommet off and found brown color foam there. There also seems the foam is glued to a piece of metal or something really hard. So anyone can tell me where on the firewall the hose can go through?

Mate,
I put mine through the passenger side (aust) firewall. I had to wiggle it around to get it to come out from under a metal plate (from memory the computer or some electronic gismo is mounted to it). Have a poke around with a thin bit of wire and when you get through make a hook and pull the boost line back through the fire wall.
I had some photos on here about 6-8 months ago showing the locations.

Thanks for all the info. I got it install from another spot...I'll remember it when I install a boost controller though. Anyways I'm getting .2 or .3 bar for reading. That's very low...anyone have any idea why it's reading like that? The gauge I got is a blitz blm one.

I tried again with a greddy profec boost controller to find out how much psi I am running, 3.5 it read. So I am sure it's not the boost controller is broken. Anyone one have any ideas?
