| just got back from heathcote had lots of fun there however i was a bit disappointed with my time, i got in 12 runs during the day and my best one was 14.41 @ 98.1mph reaction time - 0.7945 60ft - 2.2495 was a 30deg day, had my 18s on at 21psi i did get a higher trap speed of 99mph on a few other runs, but slower et only mod i had was no cat back exhaust at all. just dump pipe, front pipe and cat fun day, just wish it was a bit quicker. now im deciding wether or not to sell this, or mod it |

| Ryan at 21psi what happen'd? Did you fry the tyres? Only thing I can think of why 21psi got you no were is heat soak in the SMIC and no cool air running into the air filter.Do a search and modify your filter box,BFI I is what you should search for. If you get a front mount it will help with temp's like this. |

| Get your 60' time down and you will see something closer to 13 by far ;D 1.9sec is a good 60' time. =) 14flatt is the record afaik for a stock Soarer. |

Sorry guy's I was on drug's Hahahahaha I think I was on neptune ....Hahahaha 60 footers are the key.....Some have different Idea's but this is how I got mine down to 1.9, After your solid burnout Bring to the line(With over drive off and ect off,for softer launch) and Foot on brake,Bring the revs up to just before your tyres will spin,Around 2800rpm(Called stalling the turbo's).Some times you may need to hold the hand brake too.Lights go green Release brake/Handbrake with the peddle flat to the floor.Just before you change into second flick the ECT on.Hopefully you get a good launch and sixty foot time.Practice or more track time will get you there. |

| 14.41 Is a great time As my 1st run with a stock soarer was 15sec pass and the temp was only 15deg.Now that was not a good time.As time had gone on I got better with the launch.I tried to keep up with Daniel clarke but I told him my secret and now he kick's my arse....hahahaha Not sure about now but words are cheep and times tell the story! |

Reaction time doesn't factor into the ET Ryan. More stall and a better 60. If you aren't breaking traction with the 275's then you aren't trying hard enough. I managed a 2.083 60 footer on my worn out 275's launching at 2700 rpm so there's likely a little more work that can be done. |

| Track condition plays a big role as well, however in my experience even on a crappy track a 2.1sec 60' is possible... |
