dont quote me but I wouldve thought a factory bi turbo setup wouldve been more ideal for drifting...

With a single turbo your power delivery range is shorter and thus gathering enough power on the turns to keep your car sliding would be more challenging yes?

On the other hand with a bi turbo setup youll have a lot of power at your expense in between 2000 - 5000rpm which would make it a lot easier to maintain a long drift.

kkr doesn't quite fit in that braket mate! They are ok, I have used them in the past, but they are no where near the quality of the others.

Also keep in mind that Garrett is comisioned by HKS for their turbos and their specs are relatively close, so when you buy a HKS you are efeectivley getting a Garrett that pumps out only around 10rwkw more, plus a pretty purple badge :-)

The 30/37 is a proven turbo on 1J's for drifting. As for ecu, if you are going to go all out with all those goodies, I'd be looking at an eManage Ultimate at the very minimum. Or if you want a bit more, look at the Microtech LT12 (I think thats the model?).
