Hey all,
I was driving around tonight testing my new FMIC setup, when all of a sudden the Engine Error code lit up. Now it has litten up before (ages ago) just come up and went straight away. This time i noticed it just stayed on for the entire drive. I have never had this before and its kind of freaked me out a little, considering I am going to drive down to melbourne this weekend. I just had a new FMIC setup installed which now follows the original pipework, now are there any sensors, wiring I should be aware of?? Going by the toyota manual, it is saying its electrical, thats why I'm thinking sensor or wiring?? Also with this error up, it didn't effect the way the car drove at all. Any help will be appreciated.

Hey steven.. I have recently had same error. The electrical error wont go away off the dash till you turn your car off.
It is most likely a sensor or problem with a sensor.
Mine ended up being the emanage knock sensor wiring causing the issue. I just chopped the wire to the emanage and all good.
Run the diagnostics and it will tell you what code has come up.
Mine came up with 52. (knock sensor)
for a list of what the numbers mean do a search on here (or toymods)
most soarer dash's will say efi followed by the number. also the check engine light will flash morse code style.
if you hit the scroll button on your dash it will run through the numbers. give it time though as it sometime takes a while for them to be displayed on the dash.

Yeah I'm gonna have to run some diagnostics I guess (never done it before). I still wonder though what could have been bumped or disconnected at the front of the engine. Never happened with the old FMIC setup, now its doing it with the new FMIC setup.....
