Hi All,

does anyone know if you can buy that Metal Plate thing that you bolt over the factory BOV when you remove it.

I dont really want to falk out $200 bucks for the Turbosmart Kit.

Do you need to remove the factory bov when installing a aftermarket one???????

Any Idea's would be great

You will, I had a HKS SSQ and the stock one both plumbed in, I dont think there was a point of having the HKS one in.

I'm currently in the process of making a custom made adapter for the HKS BOV to mount in the factory position, wont be long now till its done

You can just block the standard BOV off with a welsh plug.

Or buy the Blanking plate from turbosmart which cost around $80

Technically you dont need to remove the standard BOV when running a aftermarket BOV, But you should block it off.
