Hey guys, i brought this Blitz bov from autobarn a few weeks ago, and it came with this Blitz adapter. You cut a hole in the intercooler pipe, place the adapter in and weld up a gasket, the only problem is, is that the adapter is made of Aluminium and when you weld it its going to melt. is the purpose of the aluminium, to melt and create the gasket, or do i have to use an oxy weld??????

Any thoughts would be great

Cheers

If your Intercooler piping is aluminium as well, just get it TIG welded. If it isn't you might have to get another adapter made. Most sheetmetal/fabrication shops will have a TIG.

To weld alloy,You need an alloy welder to do it for you.Rough cost is around $30.Do the ring around to find an alloy welder.
