Hey guys, for a little while now i have noticed a pretty rich fuel smell at start up, and its not really using heaps of extra fuel though.

I have also noticed that under hard Boost 4000Rpm + its starts to smoke a bit out the back exhaust, i dont believe thats its a turbo seal as the car has not used any oil in the last couple of months, still full and beautifully Gold,( it better be at $75 bucks for 5 liters )

Any Thoughts??????????????

Hey did anyone from adl catch that sale @ autobarn Gilles Plains the other week, they had Motul Turbo Lite 4100 out for $35 for a 5 liter bottle......... I brought 6

Don't be alarmed. It's normal. Black smoke out the rear when booting it is fuel. It's better to run rich than lean, risking blowing your engine running lean. If you want to be picky about smelly fuel, get a tune.

If it's white smoke, I'd be worried as thats oil burning.

Next time search, this topic has been covered.

Only real way to see if it's burning oil is to remove an intake pipe, run the finger on the inside, and see what you get.

A little carbon is good, but if you get masses of oil, then be worried, VERY worried.

nah its not white, its pretty black, yeah i have checked the intake pipes ect not that long ago, and they are all cool, and when i removed the standard ic to fit my fmic there was not one drip of oil to be found anywhere, i also ran some turps through the standard as a test and it didnt even pick up a trace of oil.
