I have just ran the car at WSID got a 13.7@102.24 which is was pretty happy with. Current mods are FMIC, 3" Cat back single exhaust, 13psi, Pod filter. I would like some opinions on what mod to do next and am looking to do it on a budget. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Finish off the exhaust, get the dumps done. Also maybe get a piggyback fuel computer to get your air/fuel ratios right, (SAFC maybe) get a good tune. Then go back and try again.

I was considering holding off on new dumps as a single turbo conversion maybe in the pipe line, Any recommendations on the piggy back ecu, what about bigger injectors?. How much difference would a shift kit would make to times?

IM not a fan of SAFC's as they constantly change the timing and fuel. You end up with an slmost irregular signal to the ecu. The FCD clamps it at one point which i find safer.
Myself and Braden ( aka Ribfeast ) and AKA all made good times and good numbers with the FCD only. Much cheaper than the safc, and almost everytime a car fitted with the safc went on the dyno at the dyno day, they all had to be trimmed back as they were on the edge.

When driving the car at high RPM it feels as though it is running to lean, I dont want to up the boost any more until I know for sure that it is not to lean. how is the best way to check this?

look in the back window and look out for smoke=rich seriously, dyno is your friend on this one, save up $60, and get a 3 run pass, use one for normal, one with more boost etc.

FCD= fuel cut defender (the thing that clamps he voltage to around 3.7v, so the ecu wont cause boost cut when seeing around 13psi+)
get an emanage....dont waste your time with a SAFC, you might as well build a jaycar fuel controller, at least that thing has up to 128 points of tune
if you only plan to run these mods you already have for eternity, then a safc is fine, but if you ever wish to update.... stick to a emanage.... blue at minimum, ultimate if you have an extra $400 to play with (+150 for a boost sensor for 3 bar tuning woot!)

Thanks Charlie!, I just installed my S-AFC about two weeks ago, I have heard of a few good results using them so I hope it was worth it. It was cheap enough... Whats better pod filter or BFI?
