James, i'd be concerned as to the condition of the turbo that didnt itself!
Did you prime the oil lines before assembly? Always good to make sure they're actually flowing clean high pressure oil, if there is a blockage the engine will just keep blowing whatever you put on it mate.
0.35bar seems low, ive used these before and boost was minimum 9psi (0.61bar).

They're damn loud compared to good condition stock turbos. Probably nothing to worry about. Reason is i thoguht you were talking about the before and after installation comparing the old sound to the new sound.
They're definitely much louder, its all bearing noise. If you have a slight exhaust leak it will amplify the noise a lot also ;)

i just noticed i forgot to do up one of the clamps for one of the connections on the intake, that may of made it louder ill go for another drive soon and find out.

james, where did you get the turbo's hi flowed? i got mine done at GCG in sydney and ever since i have had them (3 years) they have mate an odd sound almost like a whine crossed with a whistle (very hard to explain), apparently its to do with the compressor wheel trim they use. i used to run 18+ psi all day everyday and have never had a problem...
