I am unsure as to where/what the ICV is. Can someone point it out on this diagram?

Not listed in that diagram, but kinda sits on the engine side of the intake manifold, approximately where the 25733A is listed on the diagram above. Somewhat circular black metal arrangement.

Is that the one that has two bolts and has air and water hoses attached? (about the same size as the TPS up the front?)

When you guys say 'service' this ICV with Carby cleaner. Do you mean remove the black circular piece from the metal housing or just clean it out as a 'whole' once removed?

Just be careful as some ISCVs have some plastic bits inside which will be melted/damaged by carby cleaner. Use WD40 as it is a bit more gently. It's a pity the 1JZ ISCV is unable to be pulled apart and cleaned properly :-(

ahh so this might explain after i changed my injectors that my idol went really high up to 1700rpm when cold and 850rpm when warm
