Dan can explain the FCD better.
The SAFCII leans and adds fuel were it's needed.Give's a little more power.

I agree with you on the statement regarding the skyline(GTS-t) boy's having to spend a lot of money to get the figure's the 1j can get.My brother has a r33 gts-t and spent $17,000 on engine mods to get to 297kw's @ 19psi.He ditched the standard turbo and put on a gt35/40.

just one comment on that....skylines are much lighter and their 297kw's are much different to ours. if i sore your brother on the streets, i would stay way...before i get my ass kicked

Good figure Pierre, with the mods you have listed now it makes sense, plus being manual :-)

I think 300rwhp is more than enough to tackle a few Skylines with :-)

You don't need that much to make them look like there standing still.
Stock auto soarer along side a stock manuel skyline.Soarer wins.
Exhaust + FMIC on both,Skyline wins
Up the boost,Soarer will kick it's arss,This is were skylines come into troubles with there coil packs and air flow meter's.This is were it get's expensive for the nissan.New coil packs + 350z air flow meter + ECU to get to just under 210kw's.Then slap on a larger single on both and the skyline will win up until the 300kw mark as this is the limit for the rb25 internals. The 1jz can handle "I think" up to 350kw's before engine upgrades.

Hang on Dan! My bro's car was not running 297kw's on the night. He was around 250 to 260kw's.
He was only running 16psi instead of 19psi.He had no choice due to him not being able to find traction let alone 297kw's

thanks for the welcome... yeh GFB bleed valve set to 17psi... drops down the under 15psi because of the bleed vavle + the standard dumps are only useful for a boat anchor...

im getting a dual solenoid boost controller soon, but i will hold off the dumps/front until i go single which i will hopefully be doing soon...

The DUmps wont restrict boost. I was running 17-18psi with an Greddy profec B spec 2 with stock dumps no problems.

I would be guessing your cat convertor might be too restrictive? Or you have a boost leak somewhere under higher boost, maybe go over intercooler clamps and hoses and all vaccuum lines and make sure they are all clamped or cable tied on.

I agree with that, I have driven my fair share of skylines 32,33,34 33GTR ect. and once you drop that clutch, all the other cars see is a you in the distance, even the RWD 33 gtst I have taken for a spin is unreal. Im not one of those people who hate other cars just because I like own a Soarer, I appreciate anything that is fast............But for the time being, I think I will let the Skyline cop magnets take all the heat, I like the fact that the cops dont blink an eye here in Adelaide at Soarer drivers

Given stock turbos do you really want to go much higher than 15 anyway? There may be a couple more PSI there but then you are getting into the area where the extra PSI does not equal more power.

Yes and No luke! The sweet spot for the ct12a's is around 17.5 - 18psi,The only drama is the ceramic turbines will brake at this level(just a matter of time and the condition of your stockies will determine how long they will last).
Daniel clarke and A couple of other members have run at 17 - 18psi for over twelve months and still havn't blown them. Then on the other hand others have not boosted any higher than 15psi and blown them....Must be pot luck! Hahaha fortune faver's the brave!
