Hey guys i have noticed my soarer giving blue smoke slightly wen its on idle....any particular causes for that ????its a bit scary but th smoke is very slight

relax,man,it can also mean that a little oil is getting past the seals on your turbos, which is common. mine does this,and sometimes even a turbo recondition wont fix it perfectly. worn valve guides also can cause this blue smoke. neither of these causes are terminal, so keep driving. do a compression test to see how worn the motor is. if compression is still good, then the smoke will be caused by one of the two causes i suggested.

You are all wrong!!! Blue smoke out the exhaust means someone has put tobacco in the motor, thats why care needs to be taken at those Service stations where they still fill up your car for you, and if you ask them for a packet of smokes make sure they dont jam them in the fuel tank!
