Speaking of stubborn nuts, when I was changing the diff over from torson to open wheeler; while trying to pull off the driveshaft bolts on Ryan's car, I snapped a 17 metric offset spanner into two pieces when I locked a open ender spanner into it for extra leverage. Lucky it didn't land on my head.

dude, three grand on your car takes it out of the "bargain" category that it was in when you got it. just put stockers on, with some $500 AU dump pipes, and run 16 psi anytime you want.

Manawatu huh? We may need to keep in touch :p
For the meantime, I've got stick turbos lined up for $400, apparently they're good for another 30,000ks (hence the super low price) BUT, I have also scored myself a single turbo kit, everything except the pipe from turbo to exhaust down below :-) And thankfull for us kiwi guys, Soarers and Soarer parts are dirt cheap over here ;)

Oh and thanks to your guys help and advice, I've stripped my standard manifold right off, down to the block :-)

It has been off before, I found. Several of the bolts were rounded which made things difficult, I had to get the 19mm socket out and pull off the whole oil feed (without cracking pipes :-)) for the front turbo. It wasn't easy, but I'm glad I got the know-how anyway.
