Is there some special tool I need? Out of the 6 rachets I have not one of them can get to the top screw because its too close to the gearbox! Argh damn you Toyota!!

I know where you mean, but not specifics. When removing hard to reach bolts, I've sometimes in the past got a ring spanner around the nut, let it sit on it's own, found something long and solid (I used a 300mm socket extension), placed it firmly on the end of the ring spanner and dealt it a good hard whack with a rubber hammer (or a regular hammer for extra ruggedness :-))

Thanks for the info Tim.
I finally managed to get it loose thanks to a new ratchet I bought. SIDCHROME has saved the day. I now know why so many people swear by them haha its a shame I had to spend $65 just one one racthet but I guess its going to come in handy in the future. I'll show u guys which one did the job one im done putting it all together.
