Mate i think the 1JZ/1UZ come with 88 degree thermo's, and possibly 91 degree versions in some models - not sure.
I've got a 52mm alloy radiator and using a data-logger the temps i see on a 29 degree day are between 88-89 degree's cruising or at the traffic lights. WOT runs at low speed with the same weather, they creep up to 90-91 at the most after slowing down then drop again. On the dyno same deal, they don't go above 91.
I think a new radiator made a big difference as previously it was a lot less consistent.
