I would like to know what people think of these units and the experience with these units the have had.
- As in Pros/Cons
- Extra equipment needed. As in T pipes/hose/clamps/every thing needed for install etc.
- Time to solder and install
Any and all information would be hugly appreciated.
BTW - I know this has been discussed before, but in the threads i searched through there was no definitive answer to what i was looking for.

Cheers

i built one, installed one, and pulled out in the last stages......reasons...

A.needs to be soldered (around 5 hours)---not so bad

B. needs a boost solenoid which cost around $50>$150 mark (must be around 10hz > 30hz BTW

C. Runs of injector duty cycle... so it will definatly (even they admitt is) SPIKE through gear changes (auto) as loads will vary and change

D. Adjusting it, you really need long 3rd gear pulls, to adjust how long the solenoid is pulsed and remains open/closed (around 1 hour dyno time)

the reason why i pulled out of it is that a manual bleed and escpecially a greddy profec b spec @ $365 is only a bit more expensive, easier to set up, can be used as a boost gauge, and also has a warning and limiter function in which the jaycar boost controller fails in.....

my advice.... ive been there, done that, ... i gurantee you will get rid of it sooner or later, so my best bet is a electronic boost controller like the greddy :-) (even a manual boost controller is good)
