Daniel, the new exhaust system made a big difference to midrange pickup. Its coming on boost earlier!
Retarding the exhaust camgear helped bring boost on earlier also and any low-end sacrifices were ironed out with some ignition tuning and a richer than stoich air fuel ratio whilst building boost.
Top end is practically identical to the previous run at a lower boost signalling that the turbo's are out of puff!

Adding to that; I've lowered the rev limit to 7100rpm to help prolong the life of the turbo's. Over 6500 there is no more power to be gained regardless of boost pressure and the turbo's are working flat out to keep things pumping.

Well done Sami! Fine effort on stock turbo's,22psi on them too......Not bad but how was heat soak after a few runs? Also what was the figure on the red line? Looks a lot better,I know the figure is less bet more stable and looks like 17-18psi.

236-37 rwkw is the red ... on about 19 psi which tapers to 17ish
I think we got an extra 2 or so rwkw after letting it sit for a little bit whilst we fiddled with idle stuff before the final run ... but that wasnt a long time .. i dont think there was that much heat soak ... it made pretty much the same curve repeatedly

Cheers! for that info mate! Well done again.......Stock turbo's at that figure is awesome. I bet she snaps gutter to gutter very easy....I know how it is with the single on an auto @ 260kw let alone twins that come on boost all most instant @250kw and manual ........ A handfull would be an understatement! haha

Hi Sami, good result. Was wondering what gain you found from the adjustable cam gears, KWs at what revs? Am I right in understanding you've retarded the intake cam by 5degrees and left the exhaust at zero? cheers David

No other way around
Exhaust retarded 5.5 Intake is set to stock/0
Hard to say ... cihan would would be able to tell you more certainly, but my understanding is that we weren't going for top output ... if that was the case you would've probably adjusted the intake a bit
Ultimately you have to decide ... as it cant do both .. so either set gears to: - Help bring on boost earlier and help a bit with midrange - Or sacrifice low end to gain the the extra kw up in the higher rev range We went more for the first option
