Hi All,

The stock BOV on my soarer is stuffed so i have purchased an aftermarket one and the Turbo Smart Inlet Pipe replacement kit, now in this kit there is a blanking plate to block off the old BOV after you remove it and the metal plug doesnt fit in the hole so i am stuck what options do i have??

Should i try and grind it down to fit?

I will try and post a picture of it.

Is there a way to block the standard BOV as is, while I find a plate that will fit or modify that plate.

Can i just plug the vacume and release hole on the standard BOV?

I used a brass blanking piece and screwed it in place. no leak and BOV looks like it's working.... but it's not.

ok i guess i am looking for other ways to block the stock bov or even leave it there until i can find a clean way to block the hole in the block so has anyone just left the stock BOV there and blocked it somehow?

yeh mine is still there.

I just unplugged the air line that goes into it, and then used a rubber blocking thingo (came outta a GFB bov pack) and stuck it in the plumb back hose and tightened the hose with some hose clamps. Easy, looks stock also .

Before that, i just used a massive bolt and hose clamps.
