Thanks Kim , does this mean that the V8 and TT pumps are the same?
Cheers

Hi guys,
I have a 2.5 lt TT Soarer and the powersteering pump has been recoed but I still have a problem with the pump noise and heavy steering when the engine is cold . The fluid level seems to be ok , What do you think the problem is ?

Have you had it at idle , take the pwr steering fluid cap and get someone to see if theres any air bubbles coming up?, might have some left. get someone to look while you turn your steering all the way left then right , but dont leave it turned full on, keep moving it , it will get any air out if there is any.

This is a pain to deflate the air out of the system! Left right left right turning 1000 times, jack up the car in front and it will be easier to deflate it...

good luck!
