Alright!!! What the hell are you talking about Patrick. Well....Living here in the Bahamas it is almost hell to get parts that actually line up and then when it's time to order from the manufacturer it costs an arm and a leg and takes forever to arrive. So now what I have intended to do is this. I got a water pump from a company here, obviously aftermarket. The only problem is, every screw lines up except 2. The two on the outter, upper left right above the one that lines up to the alternator if you're looking into the engine. Now I am feeling a little experimental. I checked to see exactly where the 2 screws would line up and decided that it is in a safe place that I can actually drill to have it line up. I know you guys are probably thinking, this frigging dude is a real arsehole and maybe some of you are not, and then maybe there are those of you who wanted to do it and was waiting for a guinea pig who would be more like a test a$$. Well I just wanna get the car sold. I know that's probably a bad mentality to have but..... Anyway, have any of you ever done anything like this?

Patrick, I dont think anybody here in Aus would have done this, as basically the parts are available at a reasonable price and are usually stocked by toyota.

I decided not to do it and I just went ahead and ordered the correct part from a toyota dealership in japan. I was thinking what if it didn't work and what if I don't get the car sold that I'll be stuck with the problem. And also too, I don't want to put an unneccesarry stress on the buyer.
DAM...WHY DO I HAFTA HAVE A CONSCIENCE!
So I should have the part for next week. In the main time I think I'll borrow me a pressure cleaner and blast off some of that engine gunk and build up that was there for a few years, check all the hoses and bolts and stuff for leaks and tightening and polish her up a bit, so the buyer that comes along wouldn't have too much to worry about.
