hi all,

i was wondering if ct20s would be able to bolt to 1jz manifold, i just called c&d motorworks and the guy there says theyll go on. has anyone got these on and how much did it end up costing? also comparing, how much roughly should labour cost for swapping factory turbos?

right now im after a cheap solution to get turbos done but if it wont cost too much extra id want to upgrade up a little. im not after building a monster so i will probably never go single but id probably like to reach say ~225 atw eventually.

225rw is normally done on stock turbos. Many members here are close to or exceeding that level.

JUst do a Turbo back exhaust, FMIC, FCD, EBC and up the boost to 15-16psi... WIth a BFI or Pod Filter, this should net 220-230rwkw.

Stock 9-10psi boost is safest....

so do the ct20s straight swap with the 1jz? what kind of power difference is there between the 20 and 12A?
