Just go for a Wet Kit, and start at 50hp. Has to be setup on the dyno also. Yavuz has all the NOS drill pieces for redrilling the jets to adjust sizes.

Be aware, Not road legal, you cant even just disconnect the line for the road anymore :-(

so are you saying that a car that has a nos setup, but no NOS bottle, makes it illegal? :-(

BTW: id look into a ZEX setup, because although they cost a bit more, they are easier to setup and have more features......

and when you get bored, add $200 for a fully sick fast and furious purge kit with colour change :-)

the zex systems have a really easy to setup fuel and nos controller (for mixture control)
heres a closeup of one...

That kit looks more complete but im just thinking it would be nice to have NOS but I do drive the car daily and would only utilise the NOS once a month at the drags or so. Any other suggestions for further Mods whilst retaining the factory turbo's. I am aiming to run an 11.88 or better. I think NOS would achieve it with my current setup but I would really hope to do it without.

(Sees rob taking Daniels car :-) )

fuel setup will have to be upgraded for these reasons:

A. Wet system uses more fuel -when nos and fuel are premixed prior to combustion (a second pump never hurts)-
B. With the increase in 'cold' intake, boost will very likely soarer, causing the need for more fuel, hence, bigger injectors (stockies are good for around 260ish kw)
c. Ask Chris Davey, he has a 50hp nos setup neting nice results :-)

Correct me if im wrong but from my understanding when running a wet system, the stock injectors will still be ok as the extra extra injector that comes with the kit will supply the additional fuel and just the fuel pump will need to be upgraded?

This would be correct Rob, And Good luck doin it on street rubber now,lol.........

Yes, Nos will increase the boost, so it will all have to be tuned and setup on the dyno.. Timely exercise which is costly. It is advisable to step up to a minimum of 440's for safety...

I would put the money into a single conversion mate.. Nitrous gets expensive with refills ! Plus you will get the benefits of driving it daily too.

I thought about NOS , and decided against... I EVEN had a guy from NOS say they would supply me a kit..... I said no.

If the stock fuel injectors are good for say 260rwkw and you run a 50 wet shot you would probably have enough fuelling for 300rwkw on stock injectors. Just need to upgrade the pump to a walbro or 040, t-piece the fuel line. One side goes to the fuel solenoid and the other to the fuel rail as normal.

Does an emanage have an input so that when you activate the nitrous it can retard timing? I retard mine 2deg for 50shot but probably don't actually need to. I am conservative. I picked up 46rwkw at 15psi with a tr44 and 50shot. Also dropped quarter mile by 1.1seconds and increased trap speed by 7mph. I love the stuff :-)

Also, means that you can run a tighter converter than a big single would and therefore have a nice daily driver and not suffer from increased trans fluid temps.

No the EMB does not have anything with nos or other tuning maps available in it. Unless you upload a new map to race with.

on the legailities side of things

i have a mate, yes believe it or not i do have several. he was caught street racing and had his nitrous hooked up and the police found it. he was not charged for it, he was not hassled and his specialist car offence lawyer said its never an issue.

i always drove around with my bottle in its brackets, but not hooked up, i had a N20 sticker on the front and rear windows of the car, i was pulled over in newcaslte, the police officer inspected it all, and said he was glad to see secured. he explained the police would have to prove intent to use it to be prosecuted.

its a very grey area this one

car is good, heading down to wsid onthe 28th weather permitting to run it on teh 28x9inch slicks and use the trans brake, on paper the car is capable of an 8.20 et but i would think real world if it runs around the 8.70 8.60 mark i am going to be very happy.

I will do some more research on the legalities before making a decision, but it does sound fun.
