dont forget about pressure, water will boil at 100 degress at sea level, un less under pressure then it will boil around 130. this is why we have radiator caps

Just a thought since you mentioned "If you're set on using only the best". Couple of months ago I had the unfortunate to work on a 2J Supra which had an overheating issue. Turned out to be the corroded water-plug on the block and it was a pain to take them out and put new ones in. This is an example of neglecting to change your coolant or only use water for your cooling system.
By the way I can get Toyota coolant for cheap so if anyone in Vic needs some let me know.

Its actually my supra they are talking about. Its also getting hot because the stock thermo fan is not coming on full blast when it starts getting warm. Engine bay is tight, its a basically new standard radiator in it. when you think about how much heat is in the engine bay no wonder things get hot! Without too much effort i can get the manifold and turbo red hot. the manifold is wrapped but i still need to get a heat bag for the turbo. I don't drive casually either. Its full throttle, 24-25psi or i'm turning then its back down with the power.
Ben you will be fine cause everything will work on your car haha. I'm just too lazy to fix small problems.
