This is really frustrating now. After I finally got the waterpump installed and got the car up and running, I decided to go and see a movie and then pop into a bar for a few drinks. When I left the Bar I was pulling out the corner. The roads were wet so when I was coming out the corner the car started to spin tires. I heard a thump, thump and grinding sound. I pulled over and low and behold when I opened the bonnet the dayam waterpump was cracked. The piece that spins on the water pump that holds the pulley and fan were off and the serpentine belt came off. The serpentine belt was new and the waterpump was new too. But what could have caused this to happen. I know I tightened everything. Do you think the waterpump could have been faulty.

See Joel this is how it works here in the Bahamas. USD PRICE FOR PUMP - 183.00 US TAX ADD 7% HANDLING CHARGE TO DELIVER TO COURIER IN MIAMI ADD ANOTHER CHARGE. COURIER SERVICE HERE TO BAHAMAS-ANOTHER CHARGE CUSTOMS DUTY AND STAMP TAX 57% ON EVERYTHING ALREADY CHARGED. THEN ON TOP OF THAT 95 CENTS A POUND FOR THE COURIER. That sucks right?

Hey Neil, Thanks Man. I have been having thoughts about selling my car.....I mean I have her in the paper and all, but after the amount of blood sweat and tears that I have put into it; and I know I haven't put as a much as some of you guys; I don't think I want to sell it. What gets at me is that everytime I repair or replace a part, something else comes up. These dam old cars, Gatta Love 'Em
