Hi there I have started having an issue where this warning light comes up. As far as I can tell it isn't an oil light I am thinking it has something to do with the cooling system. The mechanic told me it was probably a faulty sensor but if that was the case it would probably stay on all the time, that's what I think anyway. Can anyone please let me know what this light is as I have no idea and would like to get the problem sorted before it becomes a major issue.

I believe its the "Oil Level Warning" Light.

Edit:
Just did a quick search for you, if your oil level is fine it may be a faulty sensor.

Ahh k thanks heaps. It must be a faulty sensor all my levels are fine. It comes on and off every now and hen but seems to have come up more frequently as the temp has risen that's why I thought it may have been a cooling system problem. ill get the sensor changed then thanks.

When exactly does it come on? I have had mine come on from time to time under extremely hard braking or cornering when the oil is momentarily forced away from the pickup.

It comes on whenever it feels like it. I think the sensor is faulty because all the oil levels are full. It will stay on for ages at a time then go off at times too.
