oh and Christian, even if the radiator cap is on. it just then goes to coolant and then the coolant just builds up and over flows. i only ever have the bottle just under half way?

It is totally normal to have a lot of water coming out when you remove the cap when hot. But that also tells me the cap is probably ok. If it was faulty you would have very little pressure in the system. But the more you drive it as it is the more chance of major dramas you will have. Spend the $10.00 or so even if it does not fix it then look at the more expensive areas.

i know this is going to sound like im a douche haha! ....i bought some radiator clean and flush, put that in, and i havnt had any problems since, the coolant bottle hasnt moved and when the car cools down and i open the cap squeeze the hose and water comes straight up..?..
this was after, i drove down to waroona(perth people know) from perth and back, then up the hills looking for a bush rave up near Mt dale/beverly. we never found it someone stole the turn off sign, EITHER WAY, after 700kms or driving for the day and night... got back my car was cooking a little bit, very hot, not overheating, once it cooled down, the water was still there coolant dropped a bit but all is fine, so i dont know if this flush gave it a fix or what. lol...
the only problem i had was, black soarer, red dirt, grill on bonnet,
= MAJORLY RED SOARER with RED ENGINE BAY lol!!
btw, RWD on a Gravel Road ( FCUK YEAH!!!! )
im also gonna do a pressure test on it soon just to be on the safe side.
